Tutorial - How do I record MP3?
Hi there friends! These days, many users keep asking me about how
to record audio to MP3.
Maybe you are one of the users who are still confused. In this tutorial,
I will teach you step by step to record MP3.
The only two things you'll need:
- The sound source you want to record.

step 1. download and run mp3 recorder

Double-click the icon to launch the program.
Step 2. Choose format & quality
Choose output format as MP3 in "General Settings" tag. Choose output quality in "Output Format Settings" tag.
Tip:
WAV is good for your master file to make copies and
edit because of its uncompressed quality.
MP3 is good for listening on iPod and other music players
but not good for studio recording & editing.
WMA is good for small bit-rates & playing on your
computer, but if you want real quality it can't beat MP3 at high
bit-rates.
Step 3. Specify Output Name & Location
Click "Record" to specify the output name & "Change" to specify the output location. Then, click "OK" to start recording.
Tip: If you simply want to record some sound for temporary use and may delete it later, or maybe you want to know the specific date and time you make this recording, it is suggested that you check "Auto make file name by date and time"
Step 4. Recording
The sound you want is being recorded now. Click "Stop" to finish recording. You may click "View Files" to find the MP3 file.
Tip: If the recording volume are too low, you can see only very small variations in the wave pattern. If the sound is being clipped off because the volume is too high and your recording will be distorted - you should move the volume setting down until most of the volume range is displayed without clipping.
