How do I rip audio CDs?

Maybe you are one of the users who are still confused. In this tutorial, I will teach you step by step to rip audio CD.

The only two things you'll need:

Now, let's get started.

step 1. download and run audio cd ripper

Click here to download Audio CD Ripper and install it.

All Free Disc Burner is a package of powerful tools for CD/DVD and ISO creation. Here we provide a tutorial to quickly rip audio CD. Download, install & launch All Free Disc Burner.

Double-click the icon to launch the program. Click "Audio CD" and choose "Audio CD Ripper".

Select Tool

Step 2. Select device

Insert an audio CD and select the burning drive.

Tip: If you don't have an audio CD in your drive, you could not proceed and there will be a window that pops up and reminds you of this. If you connect another drive or change the disc in the drive, just hit "Refresh" or instead, click "Back" and then "Next" to update the device list.

Select Device

Step 3. Select audio tracks

Select the listed tracks to rip.

Tip: All the tracks are checked by default & you are allowed to uncheck the tracks you don't want. Here you can see the filename of the tracks to be ripped, which is the same with those in the audio CD like Track1, Track2, Track3, etc. The ripped tracks could not be renamed by our program directly in the ripping process.

Step 4. Choose compression option

Choose a compression option for grabbed audio files.

Tip: Choose the quality according to your needs. You have uncompressed WAV format, lossless WMA as well as many lower-quality options of WMA. And remember: the better the quality, the larger the size.

Step 5. Start ripping

Click "Next" to rip and wait until the ripping is finished.

Tip: It is suggested that you wait until your drive automatically ejects, instead of pressing optical drive eject button immediately when our program shows "Grabbing complete".
